These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SelfAI – AI Headshot Generator mobile app, the web app at app.selfaiphoto.com and the marketing website at https://www.selfaiheadshot.com (together, the “Service”), provided by Rocket Digital Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By installing the app, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use SelfAI. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not intended for users under 13.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@rocketdigital.ai if you suspect any unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use SelfAI only in lawful ways. You will not upload photos of other people without their consent, attempt to generate sexualised, defamatory, hateful or otherwise prohibited content, attempt to bypass the safety filters, reverse-engineer the Service, or use the Service to build a competing product. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process and transform that content solely to provide the Service to you — for example, to generate AI headshots from your selfies, to store the results against your account, and to deliver them back to you. The licence ends when you delete the content from the app.
5. Generated content
Subject to these Terms, we assign to you the rights we hold in the AI headshots generated for your account, so you can use them for personal and commercial purposes — LinkedIn, resumes, business profiles, marketing, social media, dating profiles, press kits and so on. You are responsible for making sure your use of the generated photos complies with applicable laws and the policies of the platforms you publish them on.
6. Subscriptions, credits and refunds
SelfAI offers paid subscriptions and credit packs purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing, renewal cadence and any free trial terms are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google according to their respective policies. We may, at our discretion, issue goodwill credits inside the app.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party processors — RevenueCat, Firebase, Google AdMob, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Replicate, Fal.ai, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Vercel Analytics — as described in the Privacy Policy. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.
8. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change or remove features, suspend access for maintenance, or discontinue parts of the Service. We will give reasonable notice of any material change.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AI-generated content can occasionally include unexpected results; you are responsible for reviewing each photo before using it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Digital Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim arising from content you upload, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of the Service.
12. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access ends and your data will be deleted in line with the Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced inside the app, by email or on this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
